Every third year the Annual Meetings leave Washington, and in 2026 they return to Bangkok for the first time since 1991, under the theme Thailand's New Horizons: Empowering People, Building Resilience. Finance ministers, central bank governors, MDB leaders, philanthropies, private sector and civil society converge on the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. For the impact community the anchor is the Civil Society Policy Forum, running 13 to 16 October with hybrid components, the largest platform for CSO engagement with the Bank and Fund. Expect a dense week of side events across the city.
